Outdoor classes:
- A good pair of well-maintained running shoes
that offer comfort and support and good tread to avoid slipping.
Did you know that running shoes should be
replaced every 100-150 hours of use? We do lots of balance work in our
classes so please do not wear the rocking sole shoes...stick to the
basics!
- A water bottle and water belt that fits snugly
around your waist, or other method for carrying water.
- Comfortable, layered clothing that allows heat
to escape and is weather appropriate.
Did you know that you should arrive to any
outdoor class in the colder weather feeling chilled to avoid getting
overheated within 5 minutes? For all those vest-lovers out there, you
can’t tie a vest around your waist if you need to take off a layer so
think carefully before wearing one to class.
- Come to your first outdoor Tread Powerfully®
power walking class with no weights and speak with your instructor
about when to begin carrying them once you become more comfortable with
form and speed.
- No props are required for the outdoor Small
Group Training classes as Sue will bring all the gear.
For your indoor workouts, please consult the class
descriptions on the schedule
tab to learn about specific equipment required for each workout.
